About Mifare 1K Cards

The MIFARE Classic 1K contactless smart card is based on Fudan FM1108 IC, which is connected to a coil with a few turns and then embedded into plastic to form the passive contactless smart card. The communication layer (MIFARE RF Interface) complies with part 2 and 3 of the ISO/IEC14443A standard. It is contactless transmission of data and energy and no battery is needed.

MIFARE Classic 1K is fundamentally used for storing memories, while a simple security mechanism divides the memories into segments. Therefore, it is ideal for high volume transactions in all different applications, such as transport ticketing, time attendance solutions, car parking, road-tolling etc. It is mainly used in closed systems as fixed value tickets (e.g. weekly/monthly travel passes).

What is RFID?

Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) is a next generation of Auto Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) technology which helps you automate business processes. RFID is an auto-identification technology which is used for tracking items with a tag on it which sends data to readers through radio waves. These tags make the item to speak about its identity, activity, location, and data stored inside through readers and finally to the application software to make the information useful. This automation can provide accurate and timely information without any human intervention. How to Make PVC Cards/ Posters

STEP 1

Take 1st Overlay (Semi-Transparent Sheet), this will be used for printing your matter. One Side of the overlay is peelable (Plastic Film). DO NOT PRINT ON THE PEELABLE SIDE. Feed the paper in the inkjet printer in such a way that the NON-PEELABLE SIDE is the printing side. Print using a Mirror Image of the required Image. This is will be the front side of the document. Repeat the same with 2nd Overlay for the Rear Side of the document. Note: If your document is one side you do not need to print on rear side.

STEP 2

Take 1 Core (PVC Sheet), and remove the plastic film from both sides of the Core. Note: If the document is one-sided you still need to remove both sides to achieve 800 Micron Thickness. Stick both the Overlays on each side in such a way that the Printed Matter sticks inside the Core.

STEP 3

Set your Lamination Machine to 110°C and Laminate the above setup

STEP 4

Remove the White Plastic Film to reveal your Beautiful Creation.

STEP 5

After Lamination is complete cut the document to the required size.

STEP 6

Your Beautiful Creation Here.
