Step 1 – Pick your team
Build a dream team of your favorite superstars
Every team must have 1 goalkeeper
Put four tactical cards and one Team Badge card into the tactic zone to increase your Match Attax gameplay power
Each card must be placed with its face down
To choose who will go first, flip a coin
Step 2 – Attack or defend
Choose a card and decide whether to select the defense or attack rating categories depending on who gets to make the first move
No one can reveal their cards before selecting their preferred category
Step 3- Highest score wins!
After the completion of choosing their Match Attax trading cards by both players. It’s time to disclose who won the round by turning over the cards
If player 1 chooses to attack with their match attax card then player 2 has to defend and vice versa
The round will be decided by which player has the greater rating match attax card, and it will count as a goal
The benefit of choosing first in the following round will go to the winner of each round

Step 4- If it’s a draw
If both player’s ratings end up being equal, then you can use the tactic card.
The tactic card can help increase the rating for the player and in turn help you win the round.
In the next round, the person who made the first decision will again have that choice
Step 5- Make a substitution
By selecting a Match Attax card to replace a player on your Match Attax team, you can make a substitution move in the game
Before both players decide which cards to choose in a round, the substitution should be announced
In the Match Attax game’s last round, you cannot substitute a player
Step 6- The Tactic Zone
Add up to four special tactic cards and one team badge card to your TACTICS ZONE
In the game, you can only combine 2 TACTIC cards with a team Badge card
Only one play of each tactical card is allowed
You must keep in mind where in the TACTICS ZONE your TACTIC cards are placed. NO
Looking directly
You must always be clear about the Tactic card you are choosing for any given round
In the same round, your opponent also could deploy a TACTIC card
A TACTIC card or a TEAM BADGE card cannot be used by either player in the decisive round
